History: The company was bought by the family foundation of Mr. Herbert A. Strittmatter 2003 and has been re-named: VRS - Value Recovery Systems, Inc.

2003 - VRS started selling successfully recycling machines for drying and sterilizing food waste, turning the food waste into a valuable feed ingredient at customers' site (hospitals, cliniques, elderly homes).

In 2005 - VRS started with the production of petfood with their VRS machines, using salmon by-products as raw material. The product line "McPet's Power Line" was successfully introduced in Switzerland.
